Originally drawn for the flyleaf of my Birmingham book, this map illustrates some of the City’s hidden treasures, from the Barber Institute to the heart-shaped pond at Aston University, and the Flight sculpture by Polish sculptor Walenty Pytel at Birmingham Airport. Since it shows the canal system, it’s also a useful guide to getting around on a bike!
