Lockdown garden diary picture: for most of the year my ceanothus is just a hiding place for sparrows, but for two brief weeks in early spring it’s the glory of this garden. Plus new Japanese maple settling in, some sort of floriferous small daisy, wallflowers, lambs’ ears, a couple of errant tulips and a columbine, and a wee star-shaped yellow thing whose name I don’t know.
