Letters On Liberty alphabet: series 1
I drew these for a new series of cogent, short essays commissioned by the Academy Of Ideas to counter the first year of Covid.
Inspired by wonderful old tradition of British chapbooks. Stimulating, pithy arguments about stuff that matters. It's been a pleasure to illustrate the covers.
The pictures look rather good as a group, so here by popular demand is the first series to buy as museum-quality, historic prints. These three are Freedom, Race and Culture.
See here for the second series.
Each image uses a letter of the alphabet to illustrate the title theme of the essay.
Silhouettes are such a nice way to draw the human body.
Available in three sizes and as multiples of three and five.
