This was my first allegorical picture. To me the Brexit vote was a positive event and this drawing expresses that - Britannia giving the EU dragon a good poke in the eye. Her headgear combines the classical Corinthian helmet with the Phrygian cap of Liberty: a reminder that the referendum result was a vote by ordinary citizens against tyranny and for democracy.
